3 to 5 years old
This program is intended to teach students the values of self-discipline, respect and physical fitness. Throughout the program kids will explore the basics of self defense and martial Arts training in a secure and fun environment. This is the perfect starting point for future students as this will develop confidence, a high self-esteem, and fitness.
Martial arts training
Karate teaches students how to respect each other. It can be humbling for a middle-aged student to ask for help from a younger boy or girl. Karate teaches us the importance of respecting others for the knowledge they possess.
6 to 12 years old
Our Karate kids program is targeted to further develop skills such as Co-ordination, Confidence, Concentration, Self-defense and determination.
Many believe that Karate is about violence and aggression. However this is far from the truth. Learning Martial Arts will lead to the improvement of mind, body and spirit. It is not the goal of our instructors to teach students to fight. Self-defense skills are essential to practice, but their true purpose is much more valuable.
Youth and Adult (13+)
There are many physical benefits to Martial Arts. Karate can improve one’s fitness and athletic ability. In addition, students will develop a strong a mindset.
Students will progress through the Karate program by earning different colored belts. Students will be rewarded with a new belt after they have successfully presented the required knowledge and skills.
Seminars are a great way to expand your knowledge of karate. Throughout the year we hold several Kata and Kumite seminars that will provide you with extra details and techniques.
