INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN’S CLASS
Background:
Applicants wishing to become an Instructor or an assistant will receive training and experience that further develops the skills required to become a professional teacher or assistant. We hope that many of our students will take a chance to explore and learn the benefits of teaching.
Program information:
This program consists of two courses, an Assistant instructor course and a leading instructor course. These courses include many training components; students will attain hands on experience through teaching children on a regular basis with the direction of Sensei Kam Arefi, applicants will receive a better understanding of teaching and how to incorporate instructional techniques in a teaching environment.
Additional information:
The assistant instructor course takes 6-12 months to complete, although the time it takes for students to graduate depends on their commitment. Only after graduating from the assistant instructor course, a student is eligible to attend a leading instructor course. This course takes one year to complete.
Assistant Instructor Course
- 13 year old and over
- 6th kyu (Green Belt) and above
- 3 years or more training in M.K.I organization
Leading Instructor Course
- 16 years old and over
- 3rd kyu (Brown Belt) and over
- 4 years or more training in M.K.I organization
- Assistant Instructor Course Certificate of Completion
